TEAM RULES

The concept is simple. Two competitions in one tournament. An Individual competition and a Team competition with two separate prize pools formed from the buy-in.

Teams are made up of 6 players and represent a US State. Of the six, three players (Team A) play Flight A and three players (Team B) play Flight B. We play down to Level 18 or top 50 players remaining, whichever comes first. The remaining players restart the following day at 10:10 AM.

All players compete individually for a portion of the INDIVIDUAL prize pool (Like a regular tournament payout) and as a team, compete for the TEAM portion of the prize pool.

Scoring doesn’t begin until we reach under 100 players remaining in the player field. At that point, each eliminated player is given a score based on their finish. The teams with the highest overall scores win the team portion of the tournament.

Of the $200 Buy-In, $40 will be withheld for Entry Fee
$100 of every buy-in will form the Individual Player Prize Pool (with a regular payout schedule)
$60 of every buy-in will form the TEAM Player Prize Pool
Top 6 Teams are awarded monetary prizes.

THIS IS A FREEZEOUT TOURNAMENT – NO RE-ENTRY Also, all chips in play at the start of the tournament. There is no late registration. (If a team captain is late, please see the registration desk for seat assignments).

Under extreme circumstances, substitutions may be made for unique situations, however, a player is only allowed to play on one team and may only play one time in this event. They may not act as a substitute on another team if they have already played.
